Corporate History

Applied Clinical Intelligence (ACI), located at 225 City Avenue in Bala Cynwyd PA, was formed in 2001 by medical and technology specialists in the field of clinical trials. The founders realized that technology, appropriately applied, could be used to provide “business intelligence” to their clients and thereby improve clinical trial performance. As such, ACI was created to improve process efficiency in clinical development.

Since then, ACI has grown steadily, continually adding services and technological solutions in support of specialized services and global clinical trials. In 2006, ACI became an independent subsidiary of TAKE Solutions, Inc. which enables ACI to offer their clients further technological support as well as regulatory-compliant document management.
