Keystone Alliance for Performance Excellence
"Commitment Award" Winner
ACI was a 2006 recipient of the Keystone Alliance for Performance Excellence (KAPE) Commitment Award in recognition of its journey toward understanding and applying principles of performance excellence. KAPE is a state-level organization committed to assisting organizations with improvement of their business results by applying the Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence. The Baldrige criteria are instituted by the U.S. government to improve business performance and competitiveness and also recognize high performing organizations annually.
University Science Center Achievement
Award Winner
ACI was awarded a University Science Center Achievement Award in 2002. The Science Center (www.ScienceCenter.org) nurtures entrepreneurial technology companies by providing research space, commercialization services, and advisory oversight. Support for the organization comes from top area academic and research institutions, including Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Temple University, the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel University, and the University of Delaware. The Science Center is a developer of knowledge communities, and has helped launch 350 companies during its 40 years of promoting the fusion of talent, capital, and opportunity.
Eastern Technology Council Finalist
The Eastern Technology Council (ETC) is Greater Philadelphia’s foremost organization for technology leaders and companies and represents over 800 technology-oriented and life sciences companies. ETC also presents an Enterprise Award annually to the technology and life sciences company that has truly distinguished itself and contributed to the vitality of Greater Philadelphia’s technology reputation. Companies are evaluated based on their product and service innovation including market need, assessment and potential for significant growth; management team capability and demonstration of success. ACI was one of companies selected from among 21 nominees as a finalist for the ETC Startup Company of the Year Award in 2004.
CDISC Registered Service Provider Worldwide
Applied Clinical Intelligence (ACI) has officially been designated as a Registered CDISC Solution Provider (RSCP) by the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (www.cdisc.org). In receiving this certification, ACI joins a select group of companies worldwide that have earned this status, and ACI is the only company that specializes in Data Monitoring Committees (DMCs) that has achieved this distinction. To achieve this status, ACI has been recognized by the Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium to have qualified consultants, system integrators, and subject matter experts. To be certified as a RCSP, a company must demonstrate both expertise and a proven track record providing CDISC-based solutions for clients.
Philadelphia® 100 Winner
The Philadelphia® 100 is a merit-based program which honors the fastest growing companies in the Greater Philadelphia region. Since its inception in 1998, the Philadelphia 100 has recognized some of the region’s finest companies when they were just beginning to emerge: Mothers’ Work, Fiberlink, Urban Outfitters, Forman Mills, Kremer Laser Eye Center, and Primavera Systems, In 2006, ACI was recognized as being amongst the top 50 of the fastest growing companies in the region.
